No two rag rugs are a like! Duplication on some rugs is impossible sometime due to fabric inventory. Throw rugs that are custom designed for the customers, giving them their own unique individual rag rug can not be duplicated either. We are currently working on new crocheted rug inventory. Prairie Rag Rugs

Rag rugs from Prairie Rugs are handmade in India with 100% cotton and heavyweight so they lay flat and do not bunch up. Prairie Rugs use only high grade cotton rags to give the rugs a desirable variation of color. They use low impact natural dyes to give their rugs the vibrant solid colors which are unique to Prairie Rugs. Their rag rugs are triple washed to prevent color transfer and they use 30% more warp thread which gives their rugs a tight weave and long lasting durability. Prairie Rugs do not use children in the making of their rugs and their textile artists are paid a fair wage. The rag rugs are Eco-friendly because they are made from recycled cotton textiles from mills and their dye is low impact, plus they use the dye water to water plants and vegetables around the factory. Prairie Rugs is a member of the Sustainable Furniture Council.
